The UDB focuses on prevention and provides coverage for cleanings, exams, X-rays, fluoride applications, sealants, non-surgical extractions*, and fillings.

Network: Delta Dental PPO℠ and Delta Dental Premier®
A note about networks: You may choose a dentist from either network. Delta Dental PPO dentists have agreed to a set schedule of fees which is often lower than what a Delta Dental Premier dentist would charge. Having services provided by a Delta Dental PPO dentist will stretch your annual maximum dollars further.
Choosing a network dentist
UDB includes the ability to enroll in Evidence Based Integrative Care Plan (EBICP). EBICP is a program for people with certain medical conditions who would benefit from extra cleanings. Learn more about EBICP.
**Resin (white) fillings are covered at 100% on front teeth only. The plan will pay for resin (white) fillings on back teeth only up to the amount covered for amalgam (silver) fillings.

Why Choose a Supplemental Dental Plan
While the UDB covers most preventive needs and children's orthodontics, a supplemental dental plan will save you money on unexpected, more expensive procedures, or help plan and pay for additional orthodontia costs.
Local employees and local retirees are not eligible for supplemental dental through this plan.
